Soft gathers are release from the forward shoulder seam of the surplice bodice. The gored skirt joins the bodice at the natural waistline, under a self or purchased belt. In Style 1, the bodice and collar are cut in one and the short sleeves are trimmed with wide cuffs. Style 2 features three-quarter sleeves which are gathered at the lower edge and finished with cuffs.

Envelope has some tatty wear and tear consistent with age and storage.
