Refunds and Exchanges

RETURN POLICY

At Patterned, we want you to be delighted with your vintage sewing pattern purchase. If you change your mind, you may be eligible for a return or exchange under the conditions outlined below.

Return Period

  • Online orders may be returned or exchanged within 30 days of delivery.

Condition of Returned Items

To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be unused and in the same condition as when you received it.

  • It must be returned in its original packaging with all pattern components included - all pattern pieces, instruction sheets, transfers (if applicable) and envelopes.

  • Vintage sewing patterns cannot be returned unless they do not match the product description, as required by law.

  • UNCUT patterns cannot be returned once cut.

Sale Items

  • Only regular priced items are eligible for refunds. Sale or discounted items are non-refundable unless deemed faulty.

Exchanges

  • For an exchange, we will refund the returned item once it has been inspected, and you will need to place a new order for the item you wish to receive.

HOW TO RETURN

  1. Contact Us by email on sales@patterned.com.au to initiate a return and receive a return address and instructions.

  2. Please include proof of purchase with your return.

  3. Return the item in its original, unused condition according to the instructions provided.

REFUNDS

  • Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • Approved refunds will be processed back to your original method of payment, and a credit will be applied within 7 business days.

  • Please note that processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

Late or missing refunds:

  • If you haven’t received a refund after the expected timeframe, please check with your bank first, then contact us if needed.

SHIPPING COSTS

  • You are responsible for paying your own shipping costs when returning an item.

  • Return shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping may be deducted from your refund.

FAULTY OR INCORRECT ITEMS

We aim to provide products of the highest standard. If you receive:

  • A pattern that is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us promptly with a description and photo of the issue.

  • Faulty or incorrect items will be assessed for a replacement or refund at our discretion.
