Refunds and Exchanges
RETURN POLICY
At Patterned, we want you to be delighted with your vintage sewing pattern purchase. If you change your mind, you may be eligible for a return or exchange under the conditions outlined below.
Return Period
Online orders may be returned or exchanged within 30 days of delivery.
Condition of Returned Items
To be eligible for a return:
The item must be unused and in the same condition as when you received it.
It must be returned in its original packaging with all pattern components included - all pattern pieces, instruction sheets, transfers (if applicable) and envelopes.
Vintage sewing patterns cannot be returned unless they do not match the product description, as required by law.
UNCUT patterns cannot be returned once cut.
Sale Items
Only regular priced items are eligible for refunds. Sale or discounted items are non-refundable unless deemed faulty.
Exchanges
For an exchange, we will refund the returned item once it has been inspected, and you will need to place a new order for the item you wish to receive.
HOW TO RETURN
Contact Us by email on sales@patterned.com.au to initiate a return and receive a return address and instructions.
Please include proof of purchase with your return.
Return the item in its original, unused condition according to the instructions provided.
REFUNDS
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
Approved refunds will be processed back to your original method of payment, and a credit will be applied within 7 business days.
Please note that processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
Late or missing refunds:
If you haven’t received a refund after the expected timeframe, please check with your bank first, then contact us if needed.
SHIPPING COSTS
You are responsible for paying your own shipping costs when returning an item.
Return shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping may be deducted from your refund.
FAULTY OR INCORRECT ITEMS
We aim to provide products of the highest standard. If you receive:
A pattern that is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us promptly with a description and photo of the issue.
Faulty or incorrect items will be assessed for a replacement or refund at our discretion.
